Check car over and document any maintenance or safety issues; also document any modifications observed – battery dead; replace – cold air intake installed – plugs & coils are aftermarket – x-pipe replaces mid-resonator; single chamber mufflers rear – H&R springs – cold air intake; cone air filter damaged; large hole in end; replaced – all other systems check good; stalling issue is in the tune
Remove & replace battery
– ran fine for the first year – began to stall; dealer poked around & wanted to return to stock – starts cold or hot but then stalls – hesitation on part throttle Issues Found: – hole in end of filter cone letting in unflitered air; replaced – appears to have an aftermarket tune in it which is running it rich; customer has no tuning device to return it to stock
– was able to clear tune and return to stock – MAF curve is off 10-15% due to poor air inlet design; running 10- 15% rich; corrected with short/long term trims – test drove & data logged thoroughly – starts smoothly & runs good throughout power band

– P04DB: crankcase ventilation disconnected – U0284: Lost comm with active grille – Found PCV line at psgr side cam cover leaking; bad o-rings; replaced with new Ford fittings – test drove; no codes pending; readiness monitors still completing
